What is an Elder? According to the New Testament, Elders are responsible for leading the church body through teaching the Word, prayer, and overseeing the general affairs of the church. The requirements for eldership are laid out in 1 Timothy 3:1-7. Our church is committed to a plurality of leadership because it allows for shared and equal authority. We believe this is the model presented in the New Testament and the best way to foster a spiritually healthy church.
