Steven Madsen

Steven & Emily Madsen have been married since 2012 and have four children, Jayden, Noah, Ella, and Judah. They have a heart to be a disciple-making family who love others the way Christ has loved them.

Steven was born in Suffolk, VA but has lived in Raleigh, NC since 2002. He attended John Brown University in Siloam Springs, AR where earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management before beginning seminary at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. Steven went on to graduate with a Masters of Divinity in 2016. He has served on staff at Bay Leaf Baptist Church for the past eight years in pastoral ministry teaching Gods Word and shepherding His people.

Steven & Emily both have a passion to see the power of the gospel transform lives and redeem brokenness. They love authentic community where Christ is central and disciples are being made. As a family they want to see the town of Morrisville and surrounding area encounter the Jesus of the Bible in a life-changing way through the ministry of the local church.
