Matt Thomas

Matt grew up in Central Florida and attended the University of Florida, where he met his wife Ashley. It was during this time that Matt started attending church for the first time. Matt fell in love with Christ during college, surrendered his life to Jesus and was baptized in 2006. Since then, Matt has been very involved in local ministry, leading small groups, Bible studies, and outreach. Matt and Ashley have a passion for local ministry and foster care. They have four biological kids and have fostered several teenage children as well. They have a heart for serving the Lord, reaching the lost, deep church fellowship, and caring for ‘the least of these.’ They moved to Raleigh in 2018 and love the outdoors and exercise - they both enjoy running and mountain biking whenever they have free time from chasing kids all over the house.
